👋 Hello!
This is issue #31 of Taskflow Tuesday, where I share 3 things that can help you to get digitally organized so that you can spend more time on what truly matters.
🔍 1. Find It Twice As Fast With: Arc Search
I’ve talked before about how much I love my web browser, Arc.
Well now they have a new search app for mobile and it’s a game changer.
📲 Here's what makes it unique:
Browse for Me
This feature acts like a personal assistant for your web browsing.
When you use "Browse for Me," Arc will sift through the content and only pull up the most relevant information. It's designed to save you time so that you don't have to click through multiple links or pages to start getting answers.
I will be using this for finding cool spots in new cities.
Check out this example after I searched “What is Arc Search”.
Pinch to Summarize
This feature utilizes AI to condense long web pages into concise summaries. By simply pinching the screen it will scan the content of the page and extract key points.
This is especially useful for quickly grasping the essence of detailed articles or quickly finding the actual recipe on those long blog posts.
There’s a lot I don’t like about AI but I think this is a great use for it. Download the app and give it a try. Let me know how you like it!
🗃️ 2. Streamline Your Meetings with Google Keep
Keeping track of meeting notes can be chaotic. Simplify the process with Google Keep, the perfect tool for organizing all of your meeting notes.
📝 Setting Up Google Keep for Meetings:
Create Labels: Assign a label to each type of meeting, such as 'Team Meetings', 'Client Calls', or 'Project Briefs'. This helps you find notes quickly.
Color Coding: Use colors to differentiate your notes. For example, use blue for internal meetings and red for client meetings.
Templates: Set up meeting note templates with sections for agenda items, action points, and follow-ups to ensure your meetings stay on target.
✅ Pro Tip - Integrate with Google Docs
Simply open Google Docs and on the right sidebar you can access Google Keep.
Drag notes from Keep right into your doc.
Create a new note in Keep that will have a link to the open doc.
With Google Keep, managing your meeting notes becomes effortless, ensuring you never miss a detail.
💬 3. Information Exhaustion
“Anything you might want to accomplish—executing a project at work, getting a new job, learning a new skill, starting a business—requires finding and putting to use the right information. Information Overload has become Information Exhaustion, taxing our mental resources and leaving us constantly anxious that we’re forgetting something.”
