👋 Hello!
This is issue #21 of Taskflow Tuesday, where I share insights, strategies, and tools that can help guide you in healthy productivity and meaningful living so that you can spend more time on what truly matters.
🛠️ 1. All In One Tech Cleaner
This inexpensive and organized tech cleaner is all you need for your laptop, phone, headphones, etc…
I picked one up last week and it does the job.
A no brainer addition to your arsenal for only 8 bucks.
✅ 2. Task Batching
Recently, I was assisting a client in my coaching program, and during our session, we reviewed their weekly schedule.
Upon examining their daily tasks, a pattern emerged where they were constantly shifting between contexts – moving from their laptop to the printer, changing rooms, and then returning to their office.
This approach led to them spending a significant amount of time transitioning between these various contexts, rather than optimizing their productivity by grouping similar tasks together.
By adopting a strategy of task batching and maintaining an uninterrupted workflow, they could efficiently tackle multiple tasks within the same context before progressing to the next set of tasks.
🔍 Take some time to audit your own weekly schedule and see if there are any opportunities for task batching. If you try it, please reply to this email letting me know how it went!
🍑 3. A Simple Exercise For Desk Workers
Fitness Coach, Dan Go, recently shared a simple exercise that “should be mandatory for people who sit at desks”.
The Glute Bridge Hold is a crucial exercise to counter the weakening of glutes caused by prolonged sitting.
By lifting your hips off the ground and maintaining a straight line from knees to shoulders, this exercise strengthens the glutes and core.
Performing 8-15 reps can effectively combat the negative effects of extended sitting and contribute to overall muscle health.
That’s all for now! Have a great day. 👊🏼
