👋 Hello!
This is issue #20 of Taskflow Tuesday, where I share 3 things that can help you to get digitally organized so that you can spend more time on what truly matters.
🪿 1. No Wild Goose Chases
Everyone should integrate this as a philosophy into their work life when working with other people.
Whenever you are working remotely with someone and you need them to see or do something, make it as frictionless as possible for them to do/find/see that thing.
Don’t send someone on a wild goose chase when you could easily show them the easiest way to get somewhere.
For example, you can actually share a YouTube video and the video will start playing whenever you want it to.
Just go to the desired time in the video that you want them to see, click share, and check the box that says “Start at”.
📚 2. Three Books That Changed My Life
✅ "Atomic Habits" by James Clear: This book explores the power of tiny changes, helping readers understand how small habits can lead to remarkable transformations in personal and professional life.
📴 "Digital Minimalism" by Cal Newport: Addressing the overwhelming impact of digital distractions, this book offers a guide to decluttering one's digital life and embracing intentional technology use.
🐢 "The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry" by John Mark Comer: Focusing on the importance of slowing down in a fast-paced world, this book provides insights on cultivating a more intentional, balanced, and fulfilling life.
Collectively, these books outline a framework for optimizing work life by promoting intentional habits, minimizing distractions, and emphasizing mindful time management, leading to healthy productivity and a harmonious work-life balance.
🛒 3. Free Notion Template!
📒 Here’s a simple Notion template I made for meal planning.
⏰ Meal planning aids time management by eliminating the need to decide on meals daily, allowing for efficient grocery shopping, quicker meal preparation, and reducing the time spent on spontaneous decisions and trips to the store.
👨🏫 To use it:
click this link
duplicate the template into your own Notion workspace
plan out the meals you will be preparing throughout the week
list the ingredients you will need to buy at the grocery store
That’s all for now! Have a great day. 👊🏼
