👋 Hello!
This is issue #44 of Taskflow Tuesday, where I share 3 things that can help you to get digitally organized so that you can spend more time on what truly matters.
📵 1. Screen Time Accountability Partner
If you struggle with spending too much time on certain apps, here’s a powerful way to set real boundaries:
1️⃣ Go to Settings → Screen Time → App Limits.
2️⃣ Choose an app (like Instagram, YouTube, or TikTok) and set a daily time limit.
3️⃣ Have a trusted friend or your spouse set the Screen Time passcode for you (make sure they save it somewhere).
4️⃣ Once you hit your limit, you’ll need to get the passcode they created to unlock more time.
This creates a built-in accountability system—if you really need more time, you’ll have to ask for it, making you think twice about whether it’s necessary.
You’ll drastically cut down on mindless scrolling and create more space for what truly matters.
✍️ 2. The Most Dangerous Writing App
If you struggle with writers block or constantly overthinking and pre-editing, Squibler.io, the "Most Dangerous Writing App" is the best way to overcome it.
If you stop typing for too long, everything you’ve written disappears! 😳
This forces you to stay in flow, silence your inner critic, and get words on the page without hesitating. It’s perfect for overcoming writer’s block or practicing free-writing.
Try it out next time you’re stuck, sometimes the best way to get started is to remove the option to stop.
🚀 3. My Personal Productivity System
I keep my work, life, and digital space organized with a simple tech stack.
🗂️ Notion – My Second Brain
I use Notion to centralize everything:
Business Ops: CRM, client notes, SOPs, etc…
Knowledge Management: Saved articles, book highlights, and videos, etc…
Home Life: Weekly meetings, house projects, travel planning, etc…
✅ Todoist – Task Management
This is my go-to for tracking daily tasks, setting deadlines, and capturing quick to-dos on the fly.
📧 Gmail – Inbox Zero with 4 Folders
To avoid email overwhelm, I sort everything into:
Main Inbox - New emails that need processing.
Take Action - Tasks requiring a response or follow-up.
Waiting - Emails I’m expecting a reply on.
Read Later - Articles, newsletters, or non-urgent messages.
📅 Google Calendar – My Time Command Center
I organize my time using 5 color-coded calendars:
Work
Personal
Social Life
Important Events
My Wife’s Shared Calendar (so I can toggle it on/off when needed).
🧹 Clean My Mac – Digital Declutter
This tool helps me:
Clear out digital junk and free up space.
Scan for viruses and optimize performance.
Organize my hard drives for better file management.
🌐 Arc Browser – Organized Browsing
I use 4 different workspaces in Arc, each with its own folder system for tabs, so I can keep my online workflow structured and distraction-free.
⚡️ A streamlined system means less clutter, more focus, and better productivity.
