👋 Hello!
If you are reading this, then I am incredibly grateful. Welcome to my corner of the internet where I help people get digitally organized and systemized so that they can spend more time on what truly matters.

Sent out at around 7:30PM, this issue of Taskflow Tuesday is a buzzer beater. It definitely doesn’t feel as good a buzzer beater in basketball does, but I’ll take it.
✅ Tip: Use Emojis
As you can see I love emojis. I use them just for fun like most people, but I also use them strategically.
I use them all the time for tasks, notes, and my calendar. When scanning my work, it takes milliseconds for my brain to register what I’m looking at when there are emojis to tell me which bucket an item of text falls into.
I like to either use an emoji that describes the action, or I use one that represents the context or category. Here’s what I mean…
Description
💡 Change the kitchen lightbulb
📧 Process email
💐 Pick up flowers from the store
Context
🏠 Change the kitchen lightbulb
🖥️ Process email
🚗 Pick up flowers from the store
You can install emoji keyboards but the easiest way to do this on an apple computer is to use the shortcut: control+command+space
You can also reconfigure your function (fn) button to have it pop up the emoji keyboard if you’re like me and think it’s worth getting a shortcut for the shortcut.
I'm confident you'll find it makes organizing tasks and notes easier and faster. Plus it adds a little bit of fun and personality to your work.
📱 Tool: Read Later
If you're like me, you often come across articles that you don't have the time to read at the moment, but you know that you want to come back to them later. One of the best ways to do this is to use a read later tool.
Tools like Pocket and Instapaper allow you to save articles and webpages to read later. You can even add them to specific folders or add tags to them to make them easier to find. This way, you can keep all of your saved articles organized and you can easily find them when you have time to read them.
These tools also provide a great way to save articles you find while browsing the web so that you can access them from any device. You can even sync them across multiple devices so that you can pick up where you left off.
They keep your digital reading organized and it's one of the best ways to make sure that you don't forget about important articles you want to read. Give it a try and see how it works for you!

So good! I had no idea about the emoji keyboard shortcut
